Family Vacation

So today started our grand family vacation. We are headed to Gettysburg, PA tomorrow, then on to Hershey, PA, and then to Washington D.C. for a few days. Right now I am sitting in a hotel room in Christiansburg, VA watching Pirates of the Carribbean - Curse of the Black Pearl. We drove for seems like forever today. However we stopped twice for about an hour each time. And the best part was we stopped at a Christian Bookstore. One of them was the largest Christian Bookstore in the Nation and the other was a wholesale bookstore. I got several new books and my dad promised to but me the new MacArthur Study Bible in the NASB version. I am very happy about this as anyone who knows me well would understand. Well all of the people whose blogs I read are very profound and deep. I guess in my nature I am not very deep or profound so therefore most of my blogs will probably not be very interesting. But tomorrow we go to the battlefield in Gettysburg, where the course of the Civil War (or as my father calls it The War of Northern Aggression) was changed. It will probably be very sobering and solemn as is benefitted to this hallowed spot where so many soldiers fought and died for what they believed.
